I'm the CEO of Stepfamily Solutions, a Certified Stepparent Coach, and a family dynamics researcher who specializes in blended families. What I really do is give blended family members language for what they so often feel but can't explain: stepfamilies run on a completely different set of rules, and nobody handed them the rulebook.
But I didn't start here. I spent 23 years in politics, first on Capitol Hill, then leading policy strategy at two of the world's top movie studios. Then I became a stepmom of four, and I saw firsthand how few real tools existed for stepfamilies like mine.
So at the peak of my career, I walked away to build the company I wish I'd had.
Through my coaching, events, and podcast, I've helped thousands of stepmoms and stepfamilies, and I train coaches in the top stepfamily coach certification in the U.S., an expert-endorsed program I created.
I hold a JD from Emory University School of Law and am completing my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at William & Mary, where my research focuses on how applying first-family logic to stepfamilies causes real, measurable harm. I have presented my research on stepfamily dynamics at the International Association for Relationship Research conference in Glasgow, Scotland, I serve on several non-profit boards, and I've been named one of the Washington Business Journal's "Women Who Mean Business."
Cameron's insight is invaluable to the stepmom community. Her vulnerability and honesty is admirable. She's helping to change the narrative about the stepmom experience, and I'm here for it!
Jamie ScrimgeourCameron has a wonderful blend of experience and humility. She has it all thought through, but admits she doesn't have it all figured out yet. She offers great perspective, sound advice, and welcome humor.
KellyCameron has a real, down to earth and positive approach to put you back in the driver's seat of your own reality, how you respond to it, and how you show up every day. For yourself and for your family.

This is where I'd point most of you. The bundle includes the Stepmom Success Blueprint, the Stepfamily Financial Survival Toolkit, plus two exclusive self-care resources you cannot get anywhere else. All of it for less than the cost of a single therapy session.
Instant download. If it's not what you hoped, just reply and we'll make it right.
You've said the right thing before. You planned it, kept your voice calm, led with your "I" statements, and it still blew up in your face. That's not because you chose the wrong words. It's because stepfamily conversations run on rules nobody ever explained. This playbook gives you the actual words for the five hardest stepmom conversations, plus the pattern underneath them, so you know what to say even when real life goes off script.
Instant download. If it's not what you hoped, just reply and we'll make it right.
This is the resource I built for the stepmom who is done white-knuckling it and ready for an actual plan. Boundaries with the ex. Discipline dynamics. Household systems. Self-care. It's all in there, built for stepmoms, not adapted from a first-family model.
Instant download. If it's not what you hoped, just reply and we'll make it right.
Blended family finances are complicated in ways most advice never accounts for. This workbook walks you and your partner through the financial conversations most blended couples never have but absolutely should.

Not at all. In fact the earlier you have these tools the better. Most stepmoms spend their first year or two learning the hard way what these resources could have told them on day one.
Yes, I believe you will. But what I hear the most from experienced stepmoms is that it's not always about learning something new. It's about finally having language for what you've been living, and a real plan for what to do next.
Get the bundle. It's the best value by a long shot, and it gives you the Blueprint, the Financial Toolkit, and two exclusive self-care resources in one place for $97.
Instant PDF delivery to your inbox, no waiting, no shipping. It's yours to download and keep forever.
Absolutely. Every resource stands on its own, so you can start wherever you feel the most pressure right now. That said, the bundle is the best value by far, and it includes two self-care resources you can't get any other way.
Yes. The Blueprint is your big picture plan for stepmom life. The Playbook goes deep on one thing: what to actually say when it matters most, and how to recover when it doesn't go the way you hoped. They work beautifully together.
Yes. These tools are about your role, your boundaries, and your peace of mind, which matter at every stage. The dynamics don't disappear when the kids grow up, they just change shape.

"I did not realize how hard being a stepmom was going to be and had no clue about all the resources that are available. Beth and Cameron go above and beyond to really impact stepmoms' lives by having amazing speakers and presentations.

I love getting to spend time with Cameron and Beth and the other stepmoms. It really helps to hear others having similar problems. And I've really enjoyed the book club and expert presentations.

I’ve always felt left out of the “mom club” as a stepmom. I now feel like I am part of an amazing tribe of women who are so strong and make a difference in their families everyday.
